Why the license matters
Nassau and Suffolk both license home improvement contractors, including pool installers and service companies. A county license means the company is registered with the county's consumer affairs office, so there's a public record you can check and a place to turn if something goes wrong. The big lead sites and Google Maps don't show it. We do, with the license number, its status and the date we checked.
